Melinda Gill is a general practitioner with a background in family medicine, women and children’s health, mental healthcare, international health programming, and program evaluation research. She lived in the Philippines for ten years where her work included programs to improve health outcomes among survivors of exploitation and violence, including through supported employment. Her research explores the recovery and reintegration of survivors of abuse and exploitation, the health and wellbeing of adolescent girls, and interventions to enhance the care of victim-survivors of family violence in primary care settings.
